I've got a new digital piece in the works probably since I got back from Spectrum.
There are a lot of drawing issues that I did not solve to clarity early on, and as a result the painting process is slowed down, because now I am trying to figure out drawing details as I'm choosing my colors and applying marks.
I've also taken on a personal commission from an army friend I met during my two weeks of Annual Training. It is about the Legend of Zelda. The composition is fairly generic, but within the confines of a simple composition, I get the opportunity to exercise my skills in oil color. This will be a traditional piece. I hope to upload the refined drawing later on.
As World of Warcraft enters into patch 5.4, the final content patch for Mists of Pandaria, I've decided to make this my last stand as a hardcore raider. I will give it my all, with the mindset of a pro-gamer. A lot of people underestimate the dedication that hardcore raiders put towards this, but it really is an exercise in professionalism and passion (some have referenced it to be liken to a second job, or even second life). I will take the lessons I learned through my 9 years of World of Warcraft into my next stage of life when 5.4 and Mists of Pandaria is completed. I will then put my all into my art and music. I will likely continue to play video games in a casual capacity, but will probably not play another MMORPG again.
Has any of you ever had a sozo or other kind of inner healing type of ministry? It is pretty awesome. My church runs healing rooms on Mondays and I've finally had a chance to stop by and get prayed for not once but twice—a double dose of the Holy Ghost. Among the things they prayed for was my recent issues with my digestive system, and as soon as they started praying I could feel the acid in my stomach noticeably subside.
